Capucine Bourcart - Bio

Capucine Bourcart is a French artist from the Alsace region. She is primarily self-taught in photography, but has taken classes at the International Center of Photography in New York to hone her skills where she is also a Teacher's Assistant.

She has been exhibited at the Museum of Motherhood, Arsenal Gallery Central Park, Harlem Open Artists Studio Tour, Harlem Art Walk Tour and French Culture Nights. She has been selected for inclusion in the Lumen Prize Exhibition that will started travelling the world in January 2013

Urban Mosaic -  Capucine Bourcart About the project: "Urban Mosaic: Wall of the City"
With her passion for urban graphic design she created the project "Urban Mosaic : Wall of the city". Over a period of four years, she has visited and photographed the facade of every single block of new york city. She shot about 4,500 photos of the walls of Manhattan. She composed mosaics out of these thousands of clich├ęs.
