References to Utopianism, Rousseau, Mondrian and others are acknowledged but not stylistically followed.

I find myself wanting to bridge together nature/the landscape and what I see in the city. For m

I also owned and operated "The Painting Gypsies" - I take painters on painting expeditions to Northern Spain.

brussell3908 barbara russell www.msbthedoodlequeen.com Using varied pen strokes her hand moves like that of speed skater gliding across her canvas with a kinetic energy embossing the surface that would make her eligible for an Olympic gold medal. As a HAA visual/teaching artist & member she Adds just the right amount of simplistic paint gestures to her work that may remind you of other abstract painters such as cobra painter Asker Jorn, or Mark Tobey, or that of Fernardo Leger or Raoul Dufy for a possible art similarity remix
